Xada Zonarias

Introducing Xada Zonarias: seer of Lumnia, Royal advisor, and tutor to Stellina.

Xada was born to the two families with the longest known history of professional messenging in Lumnia. Though he grew up in a loving home with his dads, his future seemed to be set in stone for him. As a gifted only child, many expectations were placed on him to succeed and carry on the family's legacy. For a large majority of the first quarter of his life, he allowed these expectations to take him over and worked as an exceptional messenger. However, as time went on, the repetition and thoughtlessness of his job began to take a toll on his health. After a series of repeated messages made by loved ones to elves fighting in a war against necromancers, Xada snapped and left the messenging job completely to join the military.

As he trained to fight, he began to form a bond with two other trainees: Elix and Rixa, who would later become his lifelong partners. For some time, Xada fought in multiple wars without showcasing any remarkable talent for weaponry or battle spells. But he was renowned in the field for his skill in tactics and teaching fellow soldiers how to tune in to their magical ability. For the most part, he was kept away from the battlefield and was left to scheme behind the scenes. This was until Rixa was determentally injured in combat and they both decided to leave the warfront for Rixa's betterment and to pursue new interests of theirs.

Back in Lumnia, Xada decided to go to university to learn all about elvish runes and universal magic. His determination and academic prowess caught the attention of the seer of Lumnia at the time. Upon invitation, Xada began training to become the next seer alongside his studies and taking care of Rixa.

As time went on and Rixa was able to manage on their own, Xada left his role as a student to take the role of professor. Though still undertaking his seer training, he began to teach the next generation of elves all about the history of Zyrona, runes, and the arcane.

A century later, the seer of Lumnia passed away and Xada promptly took their place while still teaching at the university. He ensured that any visions he experienced were quickly noted down or passed to the rulers of Lumnia.

Almost a century into his role as a seer, disaster struck the new royals of Lumnia. Fortunately, Xada was able to warn them by a vision he experienced. But, sadly, it was too late by the time the message was received and acted upon. However, because of Xada's assertiveness and quick delivery, he was made royal advisor to the throne.

Since then, Xada has been living with Rixa and Elix in the palace while maintaining these vital postions. After the birth of the royal family's daughter, Stellina, Xada was requested to leave his job at the university to teach her full-time. This he did and has continued to do since. Today, he is 443 years old.
