Welcome to Zyrona

Zyrona 36 B.A (Before Accord)

Zyrona 36 years before the Accord. This includes old elven countries such as Estrasias, Akira, Fantomnia, and Ilias.

Xeoserpsia

Concealed from the rest of Zyrona in an encasing of deadly ice and black rock hunches the home of the Xeoserps. These creatures are not often seen by others as they spend their time in solitude, apart from civilisation. Nevertheless, many fear them for they seem to carry an atmosphere of death wherever they go.

Xeadafria

Xeadafria is the Human capital of Xeoda and a major port for all races. Nestled in a bay surrounded by the Fria mountains, the Xeadafrian people have become acclimated to the frigid weather through evolution and the use of their natural environment. Many people find employment here as fishers, hunters, and tanners although some take their trade in more delicate arts such as jewellery and entertainment. Work is said to be vital to the maintenance and the survival of a family. Xeadafria was made the capital of Xeoda for its easy and safe access to the sea as well as its proximity to many temples and shrines of the Ling Hun faith in the Fria Mountains. Followers of the faith believe the town to be poignant with spiritual energy. Xeadafrians do not often visit the rest of Zyrona for fear of being forced into labour by the Light Elves who rule Ilias right underneath their country. However, many are content with this and are happy to live a mundane and uneventful life in their snowy wonderland.

Ceofuar

Ceofuar did not exist at this time.

Xeoda

At this time in Zyronian history, where Elves reigned, Xeoda was the place for humans (typically said with disdain and an air of brilliance). And these humans accepted this for the most part, as just beneath their country lay Ilias who were notorious for enslaving any human that crossed their border.

It was difficult living in the high altitude mountains and extreme climates of Xeoda. Many struggled to live. Most towns were nomadic, picking up their roots as soon as a storm rolled in or a bigger creature decided to create a nest in their town. With the exception of Xeadafria, most people lived day to day life with the sole intention of surviving any way they could. Xeadafria was, for the most part, the only organised collection of humans with a well settled town, government and ways to make a living. But many outside the city found their own ways of surviving outside of the traditional path through trade; be it within Xeoda's borders or by boat to other countries.

Xeoserpsia

Concealed from the rest of Zyrona in an encasing of deadly ice and black rock hunches the former home of the Xeoserps. Now, it serves as the formidable fortress to Hyxver's operations. Those who venture here by land are rarely seen again. And those that come by boat, perish in the jagged, dark rocks of The Sea of Lost Souls.

Associated Characters : Hyxver

Xeadafria

Where once the capital of Xeoda flourished beneath furs and snowstorms, now Xeadafria lies frozen in time. The Xeoserp ambush has rendered it trapped within ice, forever displaying the last moments of Xeadafrian citizens.

Ceofuar

When Xeadafria fell, many fled to Ceofuar, the second largest city in Xeoda. Merely five years ago, it was simply another city, revered for it's schools, fashion district, and infrastructure. Now, it is a bustling hive doing it's very best to fill in as the new capital for Xeoda. The political and economical situation is still quite tumultous but hey, they're doing their best. Being so close to the border of Myan, locals see a daily mixture of Xeodan and Myan culture in food, buildings, and politics. The city itself is turning away from traditional values to innovation, in an attempt to get recognition from other countries and from their people, who still see Xeadafria as the capital of Xeoda, though lost.

Xeoda

Xeoda is separated from Myan by permafrost and the largest section of the Bai River. It is known across Zyrona for its frigid climate and advancements surrounding science and technology. Despite its weather conditions, many people migrate to Xeoda for jobs and academic opportunities.

Xeodans worship the Ling qui and Zuxia, which together encompass an ever-flowing energy throughout the universe in the present and past. In the Fria mountains, Qui La monks find solitude and connection with this energy by means of hermitism and temples. It is believed by followers of the Ling hun faith that Qui La monks in the past created a connection so great with the universe, that they gained the ability to manipulate their icy environment - a feat that is rare outside of elven kind.

The former capital city of Xeadafria was once the safest place to reach by sea, as the Fria mountains and Finmork forest crowd much of the coast. However, since the Xeoserp attack, the inland city of Ceofuar has replaced Xeadafria as the capital. It is easily reachable by land, just north of the Myan border.

Although Xeoda has no permanent Elven settlement, many forest elves have learned to adapt to the snowy climate. Despite rumours of a large mass of forest elves in Xeoda, they are rarely seen near human settlements and prefer the rockiest mountain ledges and densest part of the Finmork forest as their homes.
